[…] Since my July recap started in reverse, what’s best to end it other than its full moon?
[…] Apart from feeling as relaxed as it gets, what’s also amazing when it comes to free camping is how many different places you get to visit. With zero accommodation expenses your vacation days multiply – since all your budget goes to tickets and food – and all you need is a map -and good company.
4 years ago I went camping for the first time.
Grumpy and unenthusiastic as I was, if someone had told me that I wouldn’t spend a summer vacation in a hotel room for the next few years, I’d have laughed so hard.
Yet here I am, waking up in a tent, bathing as the sun rises, drinking as the sun sets and counting the stars in moonless nights lit by our fires.
Even when every inch of my existence was covered in sand, not once did I think about leaving and, if I could, I would have stayed there for ever.
Beloved fellow blogger Cocooning Cat asked 17 book-bloggers from Greece (myself included) to suggest a book for this summer. She then gathered our recommendations and created this amazing post. After thanking her once again for including my choice, I’d like to re-create this list in English for anyone in the non-Greek-speaking audience who might be interested. Enjoy!
